The Lowcountry is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing areas on the Eastern seaboard.

Everett Presson has been a market leader in the Charleston real estate market for over 30 years. To Everett, this is not just a market, it's a home.
Having grown up in a well known family-run restaurant, Everett learned early on from his parents the all- important values of always putting the customer first and being grateful for their business.
Everett grew up in Charleston, attending Porter Military Academy and the High School of Charleston. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and then a Masters Degree in Teaching from the Citadel. He taught in the public schools in rural Berkeley County for eight years and was President of the Berkeley County Education Association. Everett says real estate was easy after working in the restaurant and teaching at Cainhoy.
Everett went to work for O'Shaughnessy Realty, the forerunner of Carolina One Real Estate in 1978. He was immediately recognized as one of the top agents in the company. In 1986 he formed his own company Presson and Stroman Realtors with his friend and partner, Dinkey Stroman.
In 2001, Everett came back to Carolina One Real Estate and has been the number one agent out of 800 agents for 10 of the 11 years he has been with the company. For the past 35 years, Everett has been a leader in his industry with over a half billion dollars in sales. He has sold more million dollars properties than anyone in the history of Charleston. He is second in all time production only to his friend, Pam Harrington, who works on Seabrook and Kiawah. He is also the all-time top producing agent on Sullivans Island where he makes his home.
Everett is married to the former Margaret Bristow from Darlington South Carolina and has 2 daughters, Eliza 27 and Anna 15.
